The Origin Story
Chapter 01 // 2017
The Spark
It started with curiosity. Way back then, I were already curious about how does everything works? From configuring the network router, to dual booting Windows with Linux (which got my laptop formatted). It was was a fun journey, discovering things and slowly learning how to figure them out by myself.
Discovery
I was in 9th grade when I first discovered HTML. That moment changed the direction of my life. I remember creating my first simple webpage, with a bunch of tables and even inline css. It was also the time were I would find a way to do it the CSS way because Javascript was scary. I was really proud of this basic html form that I made.
Self Learning
When Covid-19 hit, I found myself with a lot of free time. I decided to dive deeper into web development. I started learning JavaScript, PHP, APIs, SASS, responsive layouts, then React.js. I built small projects, from to-do apps to personal portfolios. Each project was a stepping stone, teaching me not just coding, but problem-solving and perseverance. I was also the class beadle during that time, to help myself manage the attendance of our online classes I built an attendance system.
Freshman Year
The environment in college was something new to me. Coming from online classes to blended learning is not easy. Everything feels fast-paced and overwhelming. That's when I realized that I need to upskill myself. What the teachers taught were just the fundamentals. So I took it upon myself to learn more about full-stack development, databases, and cloud services. I started building more complex projects. It was also the time where I got to know about PSITS.
PSITS Organization
Being a part of this organization did not only give me the opportunity to grow as a person, but it also gave me people who made the journey worthwhile.

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) Attendance Checking System is a QR-based platform that enables fast student check-ins using mobile or external cameras. It includes an admin dashboard for managing students, events, and attendance logs, and automatically exports organized attendance reports by date, time, and section.

Bucket is a media hosting platform designed for seamless file uploads and sharing, providing users with a simple and efficient way to store and access their media online.
